About the Role
As a Traffic Controller, you'll play a key role in keeping workers, road users, and the public safe around active worksites.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Directing and controlling traffic using stop/slow paddles and communication devices
- Setting up and removing traffic management equipment including cones, signs, and barriers
- Following approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
- Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients
- Monitoring site conditions and reporting hazards or incidents
- Maintaining safe traffic flows around worksites
- Completing site documentation and incident reports as required
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and site requirements
- Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
