EQUIP People is looking for reliable Textile Machine Operators to join busy manufacturing operations across the Wellington and Hutt Valley region.
This is a casual full-time opportunity with the potential to move into permanent employment for the right people.
You'll be working in a production environment operating textile manufacturing machinery, monitoring product quality and helping keep production running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating textile production machinery
- Loading materials and monitoring production runs
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Making basic machine adjustments where required
- Reporting faults and production issues
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Following production schedules and workplace procedures
- Working safely and maintaining production standards
What We're Looking For
- Previous manufacturing, production, process, machine operating or factory experience
- Ability to work permanent night shifts from 6:00pm-6:00am
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable with good attendance
- Commitment to health and safety
- Good communication skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Preferred
- Previous machine operating experience
- Forklift licence
- Own reliable transport for travelling to and from night shifts
