The role
This is a hands‑on recruitment and client management role, covering both Hawke's Bay and Manawatu , so comfort with regional travel is essential. You'll manage your own clients, build candidate pipelines, and support on‑hire workers out on site.
We're open to part‑time or full‑time hours and more interested in finding the right person than boxing the role into a rigid structure.
What the role involves:
- Managing and developing client relationships
- Recruiting, interviewing, and placing candidates
- Supporting on‑hire staff and checking in on site
- Ensuring Health & Safety standards are followed
- Building crews through your networks and local connections
- Contributing to growth through consistent, practical recruitment
- An experienced recruiter or someone from sales, account management, or an industrial/trades background
- Comfortable talking to tradies, labourers, supervisors, and business owners
- Confident on the phone and able to back yourself
- Organised, motivated, and straight‑up in your communication
- Holds a full NZ driver's licence
- On‑Target Earnings (OTE): Six figures
- Realistic base salary (circa $70-$80k depending on experience)
- Fully maintained company vehicle - full personal use
