EQUIP People is looking for reliable Pick Packers to join a busy fresh produce operation in the Manawatū.
With fresh produce being supplied throughout New Zealand and demand remaining strong, we're looking for people who are ready to get stuck in and keep product moving.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be working as part of a team to ensure produce is picked, packed and prepared accurately and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Picking and packing fresh produce
- Checking products for quality and presentation
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Labelling and sorting products
- Working to production and packing requirements
- Keeping your work area clean and organised
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual people who are ready to work
- Previous pick packing, food production or warehouse experience is advantageous
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive work
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Good team attitude and work ethic
- Able to follow instructions and workplace procedures
- Must be able to pass relevant pre-employment checks
What's On Offer
- $25-$28/hr depending on experience
- Work with an established Manawatū operation
- Regular work in a busy industry
- Weekly pay
- PPE provided where required
