EQUIP People are seeking reliable and practical Frame & Truss Fabricators for multiple manufacturing sites across Selwyn and Christchurch.
This role suits someone comfortable using hand and power tools who enjoys physical, repetitive workshop work. Candidates with carpentry, hammer hand, timber manufacturing or construction experience will be well suited.
You'll be working in a factory environment assembling timber frames and trusses used in residential and commercial construction projects.
Duties may include:
- Measuring and cutting timber accurately
- Assembling timber frames and trusses to specifications
- Using hand tools, nail guns, saws and power tools safely
- Repetitive assembly work to meet production targets
- Reading measurements and following production instructions
- Checking materials and finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Following workshop health & safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- Confidence using hand tools and power tools
- Carpentry, hammer hand, manufacturing, or workshop experience preferred
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work
- Reliable, punctual, and safety focused
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well as part of a team

- Reliable transport is preferred due to varying site locations
