EQUIP People is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to support production operations at a busy manufacturing site in Hornby.
This isn't a traditional warehouse forklift role. You'll be responsible for moving materials and feeding the production line to ensure the manufacturing process keeps running efficiently.
You'll be working around production machinery and in an environment where dust and respiratory protection requirements may apply. A respiratory mask is required for certain tasks and you'll need to be comfortable following the relevant workplace safety procedures.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating a forklift to move materials around the production area
- Feeding materials into production lines as required
- Loading and unloading materials
- Keeping production supplied and running efficiently
- Working around manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Following site safety procedures
- Wearing appropriate PPE and respiratory protection when required
- Completing basic equipment checks
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
What We're Looking For
- Current OSH forklift certificate - essential
- Previous forklift experience
- Manufacturing or production environment experience advantageous
- Comfortable working in a production environment
- Able to follow safety procedures and instructions
- Comfortable wearing respiratory protection when required
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Good communication and teamwork
- Able to pass pre-employment drug testing
- Reliable transport to Hornby

- $24/hr + $1 allowance
- Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm
