EQUIP People are looking for an experienced Class 5 HIAB Driver to join a busy team based in Hornby.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around a heavy vehicle and is confident operating a HIAB/crane.
You'll be responsible for safe and efficient deliveries while also assisting with loading and unloading.
Key Duties
- Driving Class 5 HIAB trucks safely and efficiently
- Operating the HIAB/crane for loading and unloading
- Securing loads correctly and completing deliveries
- Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Working safely around customers, site teams and other vehicles
- Completing required paperwork and delivery records
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Keeping the vehicle and equipment clean and well maintained
What We're Looking For
- Current NZ Class 5 Driver Licence
- Proven HIAB/crane operating experience
- Good understanding of load security
- Reliable, punctual and safety focused
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous civil, construction or freight experience is an advantage
