EQUIP People are looking for reliable Class 2 Driver Operators
to join an ongoing infrastructure project in Christchurch.
This is a full-time role offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced civil crew. The role is hands-on, so you'll be driving as well as getting involved with general site and drainage work when required.
About the Role
You'll be operating Class 2 vehicles to support day-to-day infrastructure and drainage work across Christchurch. This is a practical role suited to someone who is comfortable working outdoors, isn't afraid to get stuck in and takes pride in doing the job safely.
Key Duties
- Operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Supporting drainage and infrastructure work
- Assisting with loading, unloading and general site tasks
- Working alongside the crew to keep jobs running smoothly
- Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Following site health and safety procedures
- Communicating with supervisors and other crew members
- Assisting with physical labour as required
What We're Looking For
- Current NZ Class 2 Driver Licence
- Previous civil, drainage or infrastructure experience is an advantage
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Practical attitude and willing to get stuck in
