This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, is confident using hand and power tools and takes pride in producing quality work.
Previous experience in frame and truss manufacturing, carpentry, timber assembly or similar production environments is highly regarded.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assembling timber frames and trusses to specifications
- Measuring, marking and cutting timber accurately
- Using hand tools, nail guns and power tools safely
- Reading and working from production drawings (where applicable)
- Carrying out repetitive assembly work to meet production targets
- Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Working as part of a supportive production team
- Previous experience in frame & truss manufacturing, carpentry, joinery or a similar hands-on role
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work accurately
- Experience reading plans or production drawings is advantageous
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening if required
- $26-$30 per hour depending on experience
- Up to $32 per hour for candidates with extensive Frame & Truss experience
- Full-time hours with an early finish every Friday
